And the weatherman was correct

Well this is the first time I can honestly say we're snowed in!

Deserted at rush hour

The snow began on Friday and hasn't stopped since.  All the nearby nurseries and schools are closed which on a purely selfish note is a slight pain - if the primary school nearest to us was open it would mean the street where our poor car is parked would be ploughed and gritted and then we'd have half a chance of digging it out of the snow.

The Other Half is working the early shift this week which means he's having to suffer the conditions to find a bus to get him to and from work each morning (not as easy a task as you'd think).

Our Tesco delivery was due today but was cancelled, but luckily with the exception of milk, we have enough supplies to keep us going to the weekend (and surely there must be some let-up by the weekend!)

I attempted to clear the snow from the front path yesterday, but just as I'd finished it started to snow again and today you wouldn't have known I'd done anything.  So no shovelling today.  The Little One and I are tucked up warm and cosy inside.

This is what we woke up to this morning
